TRumpet lessons

Year 5 are learning to play brass instruments this year. We have a range of instruments that the children are learning to play. Each child has been issued with their own instrument so everything is Covid safe. We have a range of trumpets, cornets, euphoniums and trombones.

Distance between planets

We applied our maths skills to convert measurements between the planets to make out own measurement line. We had to measure the distance between each planet and the distance from the sun.

Ancient Greek Workshop part 2

The second part of the workshop was to create a Greek warrior shield and find out about some of the famous battles of Ancient Greece.

Year 5 took part in a Greek Workshop, they had many experiences including treading grapes to discover the process for making wine.

Year 5 worked outside to look at the forms of nature and sketch what they found interesting.
